With a Bacholer’s in Culinary Arts and Nutrition, and currently working towards a Master’s in Integrative Nutrition with a focus on Clinical Herbalism, integrative chef Sky Hanka’s personal philosophy around food is deeply rooted in the belief that plants can be utilized medicine. She’s been working in the culinary field for the past nine years, and feels a great responsibility to educate and influence food culture in America.
With Houston roots, Chef Sky Hanka started her training at the Culinary Institute of America in New York then completed her Bachelor’s in Nutrition in Colorado. Currently she is working towards her masters in Integrative Nutrition. While cooking in Colorado she focused on foraging, education, and studying herbal medicine. She has brought all of her passions to Texas and hopes to continue to learn and grow!
